Bates White is currently recruiting for two positions, the Consultant (full-time) position and the Summer Consultant position.
The Consultant position is our full-time entry level position for recent graduates. Consultants work on teams to develop rigorous, high-quality economic or financial analysis and reports. Day-to-day, Consultants conduct industry research, work with databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to analyze data and information, synthesize facts and details, communicate with experts and clients, and prepare presentations and reports. More details can be found here.
Similar to the Consultant position, the Summer Consultant position is our 10-week summer internship program that provides rising seniors the opportunity to engage in work akin to our Consultants. Summer Consultants will have the opportunity to conduct research, work with Stata, Excel, and other tools to analyze data and other case-related information. Summer Consultants are all individually staffed to a case, where they will have the opportunity to contribute meaningful work and work alongside colleagues at all levels and backgrounds. Summer Consultants are all required to participate in a thorough internal training program that provides the tools necessary to succeed. The program is a full-time, paid internship (40 hours/week). For more information, please refer here.
For both the Consultant and Summer Consultant positions, we seek individuals who are motivated by intellectually stimulating work, possess an outstanding academic record, and exude leadership skills. An aptitude for numbers and analysis as well as strong writing skills are highly valued. Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate degree and maintaining an overall GPA of 3.3 or higher. We value candidates from diverse academic backgrounds, while a degree in economics or business is helpful, it is not required. All open positions are available for our Washington, D.C. office only.
Candidates can submit an online application here, or visit the opportunities page under the careers tab at http://www.bateswhite.com. Our deadline for both positions is September 25th. We will, however, be recruiting for the Summer Consultant position again in the spring.
