The Carroll Round is the world’s premier economics research conference for undergraduates. Each Spring thirty of the brightest undergraduate economics students join us on the historic Georgetown University campus to engage in a weekend of economics related presentations and discussion. We draw hundreds of applicants from the world’s leading economics programs, including the University of Chicago, Harvard, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford, Oxford, and the London School of Economics, among many others. We hope that students from University of California at San Diego will strive to be a part of this tradition in 2016.
We’re delighted to announce that the application for this year’s conference is now available on our website. This year’s conference will take place from Thursday, April 21, 2016 to Sunday, April 24, 2016. Our application deadline is Monday, February 8, 2016 and applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Since acceptance to the conference is extremely competitive, it is to the applicant’s advantage to submit the application materials as soon as possible, even if it is prior to the deadline. All decisions will be announced on a rolling basis.
