Berkeley MFE: Positioning Yourself for a Career in Finance – a 2-Part Series

16 Jun

Want to succeed in finance, land a well-paid job, and (more importantly) develop professionally?

Join our special two-part seminar on launching and building a career in finance, conducted by Linda Kreitzman, Executive Director and Assistant Dean of the Berkeley Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) Program, who helped design and launch the top tier MFE Program in 2000. Dr. Kreitzman has single-handedly placed hundreds of students in investment banks and other financial institutions and is currently designing programs in data science for the Haas School of Business. Outside of her work at Berkeley, Kreitzman is Chief Strategist and Advisor to several startups in the Bay Area, New York, and France in the field of technology, education, and text analytics.

Topics will include:

– How to position yourself for success and land the right job

– Interviews: The “Walk me through your resume question” and other common questions

– How to look for great opportunities

– How to build your career for the next 10 years

Participants are invited to bring their resumes for an on-the-spot assessment.
