Undergraduate Conference for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CRASSH) – 11/20/13

The Office of Research Affairs and Academic Enrichment Programs are pleased to announce the Undergraduate Conference for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CRASSH) to be held on November 20 from 10am to 2pm at the UCSD Price Center.  The purpose of this conference is to promote and recognize research being conducted at UCSD in the arts, humanities, and social sciences, with particular emphasis on encouraging undergraduates to pursue research in these fields.

The Conference will consist two parts: 1) a plenary session in the morning at which alumni and faculty will speak and 2) an afternoon session at which UCSD undergraduates will present their research. Student presentations may consist of posters, works of art, or performances.  All of the UCSD community will be welcome to attend the talks and student presentations.   We will also invite local community college students to attend the conference as audience members in order to encourage them to apply to UCSD.
