The University of Texas at Austin chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon is pleased to inform you of the establishment of a new student-run publication: The Developing Economist – An Undergraduate Journal of Economics at UT-Austin. While many publications tend to favor work that takes a particular methodological approach or that might belong to a certain subfield, we’re more interested in showcasing a broad collection of writings that do what they do well. Naturally, the research questions should be economic in nature, but interpretation of that criterion should be loose. Students whose focus is political science, business, or mathematics should not hesitate to send their work.
First round submissions may be in any format, but reformatting should be expected upon acceptance. There are no length requirements and no cost for submission, but students should keep in mind that final, standard format entries are expected to be no longer than fifteen pages in length (references and appendices included).
Interested students must submit paper details on our Google Form at http://bit.ly/18ZNZxw and pdf files of papers at email@example.com. Deadline for submission is January 1, 2014. For more information, please visit http://developingeconomist.com.
