AVAILABLE POSITION: Assistant Vice President of Financial Education (Department of Education and Wellness)
The Education and Wellness unit (E&W) is the division of the Church Pension Group (CPG) that is responsible for the development and delivery of a coordinated array of educational programs and materials for CPG plan participants. The AVP of Financial Education, with advanced proficiency in retirement planning, church defined benefit\contribution plans, and financial counseling, functions as a key member of the E&W management team, developing strategies, building curriculum, deploying resources, and fulfilling the mission of E&W. The mission of E&W is to inform, engage, and inspire CPG clients in education and wellness resources.
The AVP of Financial Education serves as a key representative of CPG in networking with other Church entities and financial organizations. S\he will also act as a liaison to the IBAMS team, which works directly with diocesan, parish, and institutional administrators responsible for employee benefit programs, and to the CPG’s Pension Services unit. Additionally, the incumbent has oversight responsibility for the development and management of financial education and financial wellness programs and resources.
