The Visual Arts Department is now accepting applications for the Adam Douglas Kamil Production Grant. This funding opportunity is open to all undergraduate majors interested in film or video production. The Adam Douglas Kamil Student Media Awards, was developed to help UC San Diego undergraduates polish their skills in film production and to help them realize their creative potential in this field. Adam was a UC San Diego, Visual Arts Media major with a passion for the power of media to connect people. To honor the memory of their son who passed away in December 2009, the Kamil family has established the Adam Douglas Kamil Student Media Awards.
All interested undergrads are invited to submit an application by no later than 4pm on January 21 to Mandeville 216. Attached is a PDF copy of the ADK Production Grant application – if you could please distribute copies to your students, we would greatly appreciate it. Students can also visit our Adam Douglas Kamil Page for the production grant application and complete details at: http://visarts.ucsd.edu/grants-scholarships.
